What our customers have to say

I just wanted to drop you an email to say a BIG thank you to all the staff who helped with my daughters climbing party this afternoon. Isla and her friends had a fabulous time. I think they all felt a sense of achievement whether it was on the bouldering or the rope climb. The majority had never done either before so a real credit to the staff who gave them the confidence to tackle both. Lots of parents commented on how great the party was. The VIP room was a great space to use afterwards, clean and spacious and private, I am very glad we opted for it. The "throne" chair in particular went down very well with the birthday girl. Thanks again Claire Berry

“Our young people have significant learning difficulties/Autism/social communication difficulties.”… “The sense of achievement our students experience is very valuable in building their self esteem; this coupled with the social experience makes our visits an important learning tool. So thanks for providing such an excellent resource which we will continue to use on a weekly basis in the future.” Derek for Stone Bay School

“I would just like to say over the last two academic years the young people from our project ‘Alternative Curriculum Programme (Thanet) whom are young people that have been disaffected from education, and are at risk of offending. Allowing them to have access to Revolution to use your facilities they have had great enjoyment and have developed skills not just in Climbing but their personal and social skills as well. The young people have found you and your staff supportive and helpful. We would look to continue using your facilities in the future.” Scott for Alternative Curriculum Programme (Thanet)

“As a parent I consider myself fortunate to live so close to your skatepark. It is a place where children can participate in a marvellous activity in a safe friendly environment”… “after being inspired by watching the skate lessons, I decided to step on a skateboard for the first time since 1978.”…“I would also like to say that the young people who skate at Revolution, rather than ridicule me as some old man having a mid-life crisis and trying to re-live his youth, have only ever been friendly and supportive.”…“There are enough negative stories about young people and Revolution Skatepark offers some much needed balance. As long as Revolution is there and as long as my knees hold out I will be skating there.” Richard - Parent

“We would like to stress what a positive influence Revolution Skatepark has had. As mentioned above he still comes to the lessons every Wednesday and wouldn’t miss it for the world. He has met some really lovely kids there and always comes home happy. I would also like to say that the lads that help coaching the kids have been fantastic. They seem to have a good way with the children and encourage and support their learning while at the same time seem to manage a decent level of control.” Deb and Nick - Parents

“when he arrives for a session I know he is being expertly monitored throughout that period which gives me peace of mind.” Yvonne - Parent

“My own son, Finley, who is five, is attending skateboarding lessons with your selves and he absolutely loves it. I have found all members of staff to be professional, friendly and extremely patient! In my opinion, you provide a safe and fun service for people of all ages.” Ashley - Parent

"Your team are truly amazing. The evening was a great success and the children absolutely loved it. Most of them had never been to Revolution before, and the majority of them are not natural sportsmen. You went out of your way to ensure that every child tried - and had fun doing so." Loise Chrisholm, Innovations & Projects Manager-St Peter-in-Thanet C.E Junior School

"Fantastic - can't wait to go again. A Google User for Google Reviews

"Best skate park ever" - James, age 8

"My son went there when he was five with the school. He was looked after by amazing, dedicated staff who explained everything to him in a non patronising, friendly way. He even abseiled that day! He loved every second" - Henda100 for TripAdvisor.com

"Most importantly, (for me as a parent) is the fact that the young children/people using the park are constantly supervised, helped, taught and encouraged by all your staff.”… “I just wanted to write and thank you for providing a great place where young (and not so young!) can come to have fun in a safe environment doing activities that are keeping them fit, active and happy whether they be on a skateboard, scooter, bike or rollerblades. Can I add that for my dyspraxic/dyslexic son, Revolution has helped in many ways. His co-ordination has improved greatly which has helped in many areas of his life including a new found confidence in his own abilities.” M. Levett - Parent

"I found your staff supportive and understanding of our groups needs. The young people truly did have a good time. Which I feel is a real positive outcome. You must remember that we are talking about young people that are hard to reach and disaffected from education and at risk of offending, so their experiences at your centre were very positive. We will be looking to use your facilities in the near future…Thanks again.” M. Clay for Alternative Curriculum Programme (Thanet)
